Spanish singer Julio Iglesias met with Paraguayan President Fernando Lugo, a day before the recital in the town of Luque near Asuncion.
The artist, who arrived to the Paraguayan capital on Thursday afternoon, was greeted by Lugo in the Mburuvicha Roga presidential residence. The consecrated artist who did not appear before reporters after the meeting with the president, will be performing Saturday night at the Convention Center of the South American Football Confederation.
The singer arrived in Paraguay from Argentina as part of the tour for promoting his new album, “1”, which includes 32 of his greatest hits.
Tickets for the show are sold at prices ranging from $40 to $252.
