Open U: Three-year PhD Studentship in Politics

The Centre for Citizenship, Identity and Governance and the Department of Politics and International Studies at The Open University invite applications for a full-time PhD studentship, to support research on Work Package 3 of a European Commission funded FP7 project ENACT investigating enacting European citizenship.  This is an opportunity for a postgraduate student to start their research career whilst playing a vital supporting role in a European project.

The studentship will involve undertaking detailed empirical research on the mobility of sex workers and the Roma in Europe and contributing to the theoretical discussions on citizenship, mobility and democracy.
