 The Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals is offering two postdoctoral fellowships for the 2008-2009 academic year (starting October), renewable for a maximum period of two years.

To apply for one of these positions, one must have a Ph.D. in Political Science, International Relations or the equivalent, obtained within the last three years.

The recipients of these IBEI postdoctoral fellowships will carry out their own research and will participate in the teaching and the tutoring which is done in the IBEI Master’s degree programme in International Relations. The position provides recipients with 28,000 euros per year, gross. All applications must be sent in by May 2nd, 2008, the date when the selection process will begin. Interested persons must send a letter of interest, their Curriculum Vitae, a sample of previous research, an statement about their research project, and two letters of recommendation to the following address:

The Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals is a graduate teaching and research institution recently created through the initiative of the CIDOB Foundation and five universities in Barcelona (the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Pompeu Fabra University, the Open University of Catalonia, and the Technical University of Catalonia).
