Three year lectureship in Politics and International Studies at the Open University

FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES, Lecturer in Politics and
International Studies (POLIS), Based in Milton Keynes, Ref: 4473, Three year contract Academic Grade 3 (£33,779 - £38,019) depending on qualifications and experience.

Do you have the drive and vision to develop a new OU course on Citizenship? Using your skills and initiative you will conduct research with POLIS colleagues on key topics within the major OU-led programme on Enacting European Citizenship (ENACT), funded under Framework Programme 7 by the European Commission.

You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in Political Science or a related subject; have the capacity to make a substantial contribution to theoretical and empirical research on citizenship; to produce scholarly publications in this field, and to work within the interdisciplinary and collaborative culture of the Centre for Citizenship, Identities and Governance (CCIG).
