FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES, Lecturer in Politics and
International Studies (POLIS), Based in Milton Keynes, Ref: 4473, Three year contract Academic Grade 3 (£33,779 - £38,019) depending on qualifications and experience.

Do you have the drive and vision to develop a new OU course on Citizenship? Using your skills and initiative you will conduct research with POLIS colleagues on key topics within the major OU-led programme on Enacting European Citizenship (ENACT), funded under Framework Programme 7 by the European Commission.

You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in Political Science or a related subject; have the capacity to make a substantial contribution to theoretical and empirical research on citizenship; to produce scholarly publications in this field, and to work within the interdisciplinary and collaborative culture of the Centre for Citizenship, Identities and Governance (CCIG). Applications from all areas within Politics and International Studies are welcome.
