Centre for International Politics, City University. Applications are invited for two PhD Studentships. The awards will run for three years from September 2008 (subject to satisfactory progress).

The studentships will comprise a maintenance grant of £13 500, plus tuition fees. Holders of the studentships will be expected to teach a maximum of five hours per week in term time, at the direction of the Head of Department, for which training and support will be available.

We particularly welcome applications in the areas of: global finance, transnational social movements, religion in global politics, development and international relations, and forced migration. Applicants should normally have obtained, or be about to obtain a relevant Master's degree at merit or distinction level.
