Halle Berry will pay $20,000 a month to her former partner, Canadian model, Gabriel Aubry, by way of support.
Berry and Aubry took nearly two years of court battles over custody of their four-year-old, Nahla, although the model got justice in her favor.
The TMZ portal reported that the former partner of the actress was required to assume costs to his lawyer, which amounted to half a million dollars, and about 20 thousand in maintenance expenses for the custody of their daughter together.
Halle Berry plans to move to Paris with her fiance, French actor, Olivier Martinez, which complicate the visitation. The Oscar winner brought before the court her desire to move residence from Los Angeles to Paris and, to be closer to her current partner.
The actor underwent the traditional test that he sought help to the Parisian jeweler, Robert Mazlo, to assist him with the ring for his future wife. Thus, Olivier had to answer seven questions about colors, numbers, and shapes of the actress’ favorite. Robert deciphered information, resulting in a beautiful gold and emerald ring.
“Olivier was delighted with the outcome,” said a source close to the magazine U.S. Weekly.
Although not yet confirmed when and where they exchange vows, Paris will probably be the place chosen for the ceremony.
“We still have not taken a decision, but it is likely to take place in Paris. This is the first wedding of Olivier and would love to be held in his city,” revealed the source.
However, this will be the third time for the actress, who in the past was married to baseball player, David Justice and singer, Eric Benet. Also, Halle has a three-year-old daughter with her prior relationship with Gabriel Aubry.
To end the rumors that spread for weeks, Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez confirmed their engaged. Last January, the two lovebirds told the U.S . Weekly magazine that Olivier Martinez had offered a ring adorned with emeralds and diamonds to Halle Berry. They have been a couple since 2010.
While traveling to Miami for the opening of his restaurant, the French actor has finally revealed the news. When asked by Miami.com about this possible union, Olivier Martinez was quick to respond, “Yes, of course it’s true! ” The piece of jewelry was designed by Robert Mazlo, whose house is located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris.
